This World Is Not My Home
1.
This world is not my home I’m just-a-passing through
My treasures are laid up somewhere beyond the blue
Angels beckon me to heaven’s open door
And I can’t feel at home in this world anymore
cho.
Oh Lord you know I have no friend like you
If heaven’s not my home then Lord what will I do
The Angels beckon me to heaven’s open door
And I can’t feel at home in this world anymore
2.
I have a loving mother just over in the Gloryland
And I don’t expect to stop until I shake her hand
She’s a’waitin there for me in Heavens open door
And I can’t feel at home in this world anymore
3.
There all expecting me that’s one thing I know
I fixed it up with Jesus a long time ago
I know He’ll take me through though I am weak and poor
And I can’t feel at home in this world anymore

  1. My beloved grandfather sang this song often. He has been with the Lord–in that finer home–for 52 years now. Thanks you greatly for helping me to remember him once again. God bless your family.

  2. Superb. Singing to God. Great and true worship. Music discipline with 4 teenagers? Remarkable! God Bless the parents!! Musically close to professional. Family rearing and togetherness in an insane world, fantastic. But the kids don’t know yet how insane it is. I see their glances. How do you keep 4 teenagers, rebellious by nature, did there done that, to accept the discipline required to create such beauty?? God Bless you all. God is using you to lead us back to Him!
