Maybe you don’t understand the dialogue and what’s being said, but it’s Jakes who wrote him a letter messing with him, Gino has the right to respond openly. It’s Jakes who is hiding, he writes a letter and then Gino asks for dialogue but Jakes ignored it, so Gino has the right to respond openly.
