  1. Ravi Zacharias ' sad and hypocritical life is a reminder to all in ministry. It is possible to be effective and win many, yet in the end, hear the words of our Lord say, "Depart from me, l never knew you. "

  2. When we grant individuals so much power and influence, we set them and ourselves up for an attack of the adversary and a fall. The "one man ministry" model in the body of Christ is a very harmful one. God established Jesus Christ as the head of the church and individuals as part of the body of Christ. God gave us the holy spirit to guide individuals and to orchestrate their unique contributions amongst the body of Christ, without one being exalted above another – we are all equals.

[Rev 2:5-7 KJV] 5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent. 6 But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate. 7 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God. [Rev 2:14-16 KJV] 14 But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication. 15 So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate. 16 Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.

The "One Man Ministry" or the practice of the Nicholaitans, as Jesus referred to it and hated, is inherently dangerous because individuals are so vulnerable to the attack of the adversary. The Christian Church needs to decentralize the locus of power and control, and instead, allow the diverse manifestations of the holy spirit and gift ministries in each body of believers to manifest and be exercised as directed by the holy spirit. Since the outpouring of the holy spirit on The Day of Pentacost, the clergy/laity dichotomy has been replaced with the ministry of the holy spirit flowing through all believers as each allows.
Try to see this from the adversary's perspective: With the "one man ministry" model, the adversary only needs to attack one individual to take down the flock. With the holy spirit led worship and ministry model, the adversary doesn't know though which believer the holy spirit will minister, and since Satan isn't all knowing as God is, he is blind-sided as he attempts to disrupt the fellowship of believers. With this model of fellowship, individual believers mature spiritually much sooner as each participant is stretched to exercise the giftings s/he has.

  3. The more I listened to Ravis talks the more I didnt like them. Too much philosophy not enough theology. Remember people the gospel is foolishness and a stumbling block to those who are perishing. The goal is not to tickle peoples ears.

  4. No, but the name of Ravi Zacharias should erased from RZIM.
And why do we have these one man shows, we are the church?

Why are we forgetting 1 Cor.12?
" 21 And the eye cannot say to the hand, “I have no need of you”; nor again the head to the feet, “I have no need of you.” 22 No, much rather, those members of the body which seem to be weaker are necessary. 23 And those members of the body which we think to be less honorable, on these we bestow greater honor; and our unpresentable parts have greater modesty, 24 but our presentable parts have no need. But God composed the body, having given greater honor to that part which lacks it, 25 that there should be no [h]schism in the body, but that the members should have the same care for one another. 26 And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; or if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it."

Also the rest of 1 Cor. 12 is so precious.
The case of Ravi Zacharias teaches us, that we still elevate that what seems to be strong in the church.
Did not Jesus say; "The first will be last and the last will be first"?
We as believers of His church have to prepare our selves for eternity with God and we only can do that, if we trust Scripture above preachers and the common traditions of men in the church.

And Jeremiah 17 says, that we are cursed if we trust in men. That means also when we put our trust in leaders.
This with Ravi Zacharias is not coming out of the blue!
When people were in the Word of God, they could have discerned by the performance of Ravi, that he was a false teacher and that he was not in Christ. So as believers we must not blame Ravi, but our selves and we have to examen our selves; "Are we really in the faith and are we really in the Word of God?"
Because if we examen ourselves and humble ourselves, we can turn our ways towards God through the precious blood of Jesus Christ.

  5. Promoting any hero other than Christ is idolatry and it goes against Jesus warning in Matthew 23. There are no heroes in faith since only God knows the deep secrets of the soul.

  6. Ezekiel 18:31

Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby ye have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will ye die, O house of Israel?

Make an amulet bag that hangs about the heart, and put in the Spirit of America (the founding documents), and anything else you find that is good. Like the Ten Commandments, Sermon on the Mount or your favorite Psalm, prayer etc.. Maybe even a list of your loved ones. Build you a new heart.

  7. Update Nathan Zacharias

I can tell you that so far I have not seen any questionable/concerning photos in both of the phones I have searched. I also have not found any questionable/concerning correspondence or data. This includes the device they supposedly found the most information.

But what is also of interest is what I did find. The report said Dad had a note in his phone for how to say “a little bit further” in Thai. They (Miller & Martin) presented that information in a way that alleged that his interest in, and use of, the phrase were for illicit/sexual reasons.

  8. Heroes should never be used as a word by true believing Christians. The only person that we should praise and adore is Jesus. Heroes is practically saying that you idolise that person and that should never happen, even if they are held in high esteem. God is the one we should worship not Great people of the gospel for we are all frail human beings at the end of the day. We are so easily dragged in and that is what Satan wants, for us to take our eyes 👀 of Christ. I hope and pray that we will do that.❤️✝️🙏🏻

  9. The BIBLE SAYS that Man was born in SIN and shaped in INIQUITY.

RAVI ZACHARIAS BECAME A god to himself , and his
    PSALMS 12 V 8

  10. Thank you for your ability to say I was wrong. Thank you. I have learned, it is not so much about being right or wrong, as much as it is about doing what is right. Again, thank you for being humble enough to make these admissions.

  11. Why did Jesus die on the cross? We ALL sin, and not one besides Jesus, has ever lived a perfect life!!! We are saved by Faith ALONE!!! Not by works…… period! No one nows his heart, and what he was struggling with! Sin is sin! No levels to sin! Do not agree with me? Read the Holy Bible! God bless!!

  12. It’s clear both from his demeanour and speech that Ravi belonged to Christ. It’s ironic that those who don’t really know Christ should be the ones to publicly question Ravi’s salvation. The fact that he struggled with a weakness doesn’t make him any less Christian. “Why do … [people] look at the speck in … [their] brother’s eye, but fail to notice the beam in … [their] own?” Before pointing fingers like self-righteous Pharisees, we should all look within to get a glimpse of how our own “heart is deceitful above all things.” Jesus teaches us to forgive him; not to condemn him:

    He who is without sin
    among you, let him be
the first to throw a stone
    at [him].

  13. This cottage industry around the Ravi Zacharias scandal is quite frankly… fucking disgusting. Views views views is all these vultures want… wait, that's not true, they also want subs and new patreon supporters.

  14. I never trusted Ravi. Neither do I trust MacArthur or any other apologists or preachers. According to my faith, The Holy Spirit brought me to Christ – not Ravi, not McArthur nor even myself. We are all sinner. I am only saved by His grace – if I have faith in me. And so is Ravi and YOU.

    My Hero? Take a guess.

  15. His slow painful death is testimony that God is not asleep. When Ravi attempted to enter heaven he heard – “ l never knew you – get away from me you wicked people” : Matthew 7:21-23.

  16. Just last evening I saw the first YouTube video about Ravi .. I faithfully followed him learned from his teachings .. I’m speechless I’m crushed .. Shocked to my core!!! I have nothing to say only that I’m absolutely devastated.. I cannot imagine what his sweet wife Margie is going through 💔💔💔💔💔and the victims!!💔Once again Lesson learned 💔

  17. It’s good that you didn’t want it to be true, and it’s good that you were willing to give him the benefit of the doubt, it means that you are not too quick to believe every negative thing that you hear if it is true of course I’m very sad but the question id like to ask is why does everything come out only after his death?? STRANGE!!

  18. Nobody is perfect, if we want to be perfect lets look to Jesus a perfect God and perfect human. So by comparing our goodness is nothing before God as He said "their goodness are just like filthy rags'

  19. I have no idea who this guy was or what the scandal is about and I'm none the wiser from clicking on this post, am guessing that he was nonsing young boys? as that seems the norm for christian scandals. Wouldn't it be your foot not your hand that causes you to stumble? cutting that off would make the stumbling problem worse..

  20. This scandal shed's light directly at me that i must guard my own heart and that i must keep my eyes fixed on Jesus, yes i am sad and i know that this has the potential to hurt the young babes in the faith we must pray for ourselves and those who's faith may be shaken by this sad scandal. I pray for the victims and for the Church of Christ, this more than anything speaks directly to me that i must be watchful in my faith and i must learn to confess and to walk away from anything that could potentially harm my walk with Christ. My heart grieves but i know in whom i believe and im sure He will keep me safe under his wings of love and mercy. To all my brothers in Christ stay strong and may God be with us all.🙏

  21. I'm not one 'shaken'
Ravi would suggest sin itself is an environmental stacious of the human condition…
Sure he was a 'famous' apologist; but only a mortal, a human, a celebrity, yet merely a man…
Let's put aside any of the geriatric emotional disordering regarding behavior and emotion…
And to be frank… the language around 'abuse' is wokely fluid as of late.
Being arm chair quarterbacks i is as dangerous as generating posts without all sides equally represented…
Stay well, and I hope you like all a will continue your 'sinless' life… after all, what would fall out of your closet after 70 years plus on this planet…

  22. As we remember the Holocaust extermination of six million Jews, we pray and comfort the survivors and their families. We pray that they will come to know how much God Loves them and that He sent His son the Messiah to die for their sins and give them Eternal Life.
