If anyone sees this, I have a prayer request… My husband of 29 years has been an alcoholic since around 2010.. I've prayed, and talked to my husband.. and tried to get him to quit.. or at least slow down.. but he refuses.. He gets drunk every night.. although when asked, he denies it.. he says, "I have two beers, and go to bed.." that's not true.. he drinks all he's got, then gets his brother to bring him more.. he drinks till he passes out.. I've taken all I can take.. I've lived like this long enough.. the thing is, I can't just leave.. My mom lives with us.. and she is in a wheelchair, and the Doctors say she has dementia.. I had a stroke in my retina a few years ago.. so I can't see well.. and I can't drive due to me blacking out occasionally.. My husband has to lead me around when we go places.. I can't work due to chronic lower back pain.. I'm on 3 different pain meds… so, leaving won't be easy.. there's so much to think about.. It seems like one thing after another has been piled on my shoulders… My mom, my husband's drinking, my health.. us living in poverty.. How much more has to pile up on me before it all kills me?!!
