When Jesus was distressed whom did he pray to? Moses? Abraham? (saint like persons who were high ranking Prophets before Jesus) No! Jesus prayed to God directly.
Matthew 26:39 – And He went a little beyond them, and fell on His face and prayed, saying, "My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; yet not as I will, but as You will."
Whom did Jesus ask us to pray to? Saintly persons before him such as Abraham, Moses, David? No! Jesus asked us to pray to God directly.
Matthew 6:9 – In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. 6:10 – Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven. 6-11 – Give us this day our daily bread. 6:12 – And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors. 6:13 – And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
And whom did Jesus ask us to love? Jesus asked us to love God:
Matthew 22:35-39
Then one of them, a lawyer, asked Him a question, testing Him, and saying,
“Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?”
Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’
This is the first and great commandment.
And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’
"On these two commandments depend the whole Law and the Prophets."
Praying is worshiping, and worshiping anything or anyone besides God and equating anything or anyone to God is the greatest sin in the eyes of God.
John 5:30: I can of Myself do nothing. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is righteous, because I do not seek My own will but the will of the Father who sent Me. (here Jesus was saying he could not do anything on his own, how can a god not being able to do anything of his own? Jesus was also saying that he was sent by God and he was doing what God wanted him to do, a god obeying his god?! If Jesus was god in flesh then why is he saying he was sent by God? The Old Testament says God is one)
Mark 10:18: So Jesus said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God. (here Jesus was saying that he was not good because the only one who is good is God meaning he is not God or part of the God as in trinity because trinity says all 3 persons in God are equal, you can’t have one of the 3 persons in trinity, meaning Jesus, denying to be good/God, so this verse disproves that Jesus was god in flesh and it also disproves trinity)
John 20:17: Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.’" (here Jesus was saying he was going back to his father and their father so the term father is a symbolic term meaning a provider as a father provides. If Jesus is the son of God then he wouldn’t have said: “.. to my father and your father…”, he would have said: .. to my father. Also Jesus told his disciples; ..” my God and your God…” If Jesus was God in flesh or part of God as in trinity then he wouldn’t have said “…my God…” . How can a god have a god? Trinity states that all 3 persons in God are supposed to be equal existing in one God. Then none of the persons in trinity is god of the other two persons in trinity because then there would be more than one god, but God clearly says in The Bible that He is One God, so when Jesus said: " ….I am ascending to my God…" that disproves trinity and the idea that he is God in flesh because if he is God and he was going to his God then there would be 2 Gods, but There are clear verses in The Old Testament saying there is only one God. See the following verses in The Old Testament:
Chronicles 17:20
There is none like you, O LORD, and there is no God besides you, according to all that we have heard with our ears” and Deuteronomy 6:4 “Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD
Isaiah 45:55
I am the LORD, and there is no other; There is no God besides Me. I will gird you, though you have not known Me,
Isaiah 42:8
I am the LORD, that is My name; And My glory I will not give to another, Nor My praise to carved images.
Let’s analyze the verse above
On “I am the LORD, that is My name…”
1- God doesn't beat around the bush in the Old Testament (God is not the author of confusion so it says in the Bible) so He uses direct language not confusing and vague and indirect language in The Bible.
2- God said: “I am the LORD..” God used “I..”, God didn’t say: “We are the LORDS…”, so God is one as it is stated in other verses in The Bible.
3- If God has 3 persons in Him (as in trinity) then He would have said: We, the 3 of us, are inside of one God …, but He did not say that anywhere in the Bible.
4- If God has 3 persons in Him, He would have told the Jews in The Old Testament that He is 3 persons in one God, so they can be saved by believing in trinity, but He did not do that. There is no evidence of trinity in the Old Testament.
On “And My glory I will not give to another,,,”
1- God says He will not give His glory to another meaning He did not, does not and will not have a son (of divine nature or of biological nature as some claim) because then His glory would be given to His son as well and that He would not want (sharing His glory with another) as stated in this verse.
2- God says He will not give His glory to another also means He will not raise anyone or anything to any divine level as His own level or any lower divine level because then His glory would be given to that someone or something (such as Jesus, Holy spirit, Mary mother of Jesus, or saints) and that God would not want as stated in this verse.
On “Nor My praise to carved images”
1- God is saying He wouldn’t want any carved images/statues to be praised/worshiped as only He alone deserves to be worshiped, so statues (of any size for example large ones in churches, small ones on necklaces, etc.) of Jesus, Mary, or any other saint should never be worshiped and praised as some do
Some say God didn't want to tell the Jews at the time of Moses that He was made of 3 persons (as in trinity) because God wanted to gradually tell His creation later at the time of Jesus and onward that He was One God but made of 3 persons (triniy).
The answer is: Even if God told the Jews at the time of Moses that He was 5 in one God, Jews would have believed Him because of the miracles they saw, so there was no reason for God not to reveal to the Jews His true nature in The Old Testament.
Also, God does not change and He does not lie as we can see in the Old Testament verses below:
Numbers 23:19 – God is not man, that he should lie, or a son of man, that he should change his mind. Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not fulfill it?
Malachi 3:6 – For I the Lord do not change; therefore you, O children of Jacob, are not consumed.

Biblical test if someone is truly a prophet of God – Deuteronomy 18:22 says the following:
If a prophet speaks in the name of the LORD but the thing does not take place or prove true, it is a word that the LORD has not spoken. The prophet has spoken it presumptuously; do not be frightened by it.

Also, what you see in the news that a few are doing in the name of Islam (which means peace and submission to the will of God) does not represent true Islam.
The followers of Islam are instructed to be just and kind to all.
Islam (submission to the will of God) is the continuation of the same message that God has sent through all his messengers (for example Noah, Abraham, Moses, and Jesus) to ask people to worship only Him (pure monotheism) and set up no partners with him in worship and to teach people righteousness and to give them good news and to warn them.

The gospel by which we're SAVED. We're under Paul's ministry today. Therefore we're not under the law of the old testament. 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 (KJV)(1) Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the GOSPEL (good news) which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; (2) By which also ye are SAVED, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain (self). And that takes us back to John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH in him should NOT PERISH, but have EVERLASTING LIFE. Ephesians 2:8-9 (KJV) (8) For by GRACE are ye SAVED through FAITH; and that NOT of yourselves: it is the GIFT of GOD: (9) NOT of works, lest any man should boast. So it's only by GRACE that we are SAVED not by works. JESUS did all the work and gave us GRACE (unmerited favor) as long as we have FAITH (believe) in the DEATH, BURIAL, and RESURRECTION of Jesus Christ for SALVATION (trust in his BLOOD ATONEMENT). That's the gospel. JESUS said, Ye must be BORN AGAIN to enter into the kingdom.(accept Jesus as your SAVIOUR)
