Some encouraging info – the hymn "Tis So Sweet to Trust in Jesus" was written by Louise Stead, whose husband had died while attempting to rescue a drowning boy. Louise and her young daughter suffered extreme poverty as a result. One morning, with no food nor money for that day, she suddenly found that provisions and money had been left on her doorstep by a stranger. Louise had been trusting in Jesus to supply all her needs – her prayers had been answered! That was the day when, with a grateful heart, she penned the words of this beautiful hymn!
