And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.

Deuteronomy 11:14
That I will give you the rain of your land in his due season, the first rain and the latter rain, that thou mayest gather in thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil.

Favour when you start and when you end.
Favour to plant and favour to harvest.
The latter rain is to complete that which God has already started in you.
Favour is a silent catalyst that sponsors celebration.
Favour of God is for you, it will lift you up.
Favour will distinguish you.

Acts 7:9-10
And the patriarchs, moved with envy, sold Joseph into Egypt: but God was with him, 10 And delivered him out of all his afflictions, and gave him favour and wisdom in the sight of Pharaoh king of Egypt; and he made him governor over Egypt and all his house

Luke 1:28
And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.

You have an advantage. God has singled you out.

There are only two classes of people: People whom God favours and the ones he bypasses.
But God has seen me as special.

The Holy Spirit says, “The Lord who sent the first rain, will send the latter rain, and will take you into a great harvest.”

Job 10:12
Thou hast granted me life and favour, and thy visitation hath preserved my spirit.

In Luke 4, Jesus spoke a word about the favourable year of the Lord. And then He said, 25 But I tell you truly, many widows were in Israel in the days of Elijah, when the heaven was shut up three years and six months, and there was a great famine throughout all the land; 26 but to none of them was Elijah sent except to Zarephath, in the region of Sidon, to a woman who was a widow.
God showed favour to one widow

And many lepers were in Israel in the time of Elisha the prophet, and none of them was cleansed except Naaman the Syrian.
” God showed favour to one leper, Naaman.

Favour means God’s kindness extended to you.

Psalm 41:11
By this I know that You are well pleased with me, Because my enemy does not triumph over me. Enemies are there, but they don’t triumph over you.

Psalm 31:7
I will be glad and rejoice in thy mercy: for thou hast considered my trouble; thou hast known my soul in adversities

There are some people that God can trust with trouble and some he can trust with a blessing
Zachariah 10:1

What happens when you personally ask for the Rain

• Seeds sown by somebody else,What somebody else started, in this rain, God will give it to you
• Seeds that you have sown. You have forgotten about it.It will now sprout forth
• New seeds that you are sowing now in faith. God will give you a great harvest for it.

How should you pray?
Pray in the midst of trouble. Pray in the midst of lightning and thunder. Begin to pray.
